About our 2026 Dance Challenge
Our National Dance Challenge 2026 begins on the 1st May 2026.
Over 4 exciting weeks, virtually and in person, Seniors will learn the official dance routine for our official campaign song "LIVE GOLDEN". They'll learn it step by step, verse by verse and practice it two or three times per week with one goal: performing the dance from start to finish at the end of 4 weeks and enjoying themselves every step of the way!
This dance has been thoughtfully choreographed by Leanda Taitt and vetted by Dance and Fitness experts experienced in Senior care in order to engage Seniors of all mobilities safely and meaningfully in fun, beneficial physical and mental activities through Dance.

Our Campaign song entitled, "LIVE GOLDEN" has been thoughtfully written to affirm the value and significance of Seniors and Mature Adults and to inspire all listeners to treat themselves with kindness and love. The song lyrics and melody were created by Leanda Taitt - founder of the LIVE GOLDEN framework. The musical production for the song was produced by multi-talented music producer and artist, JPrince, from J Lab Productions.

More about the Pilot project
Our Pilot - Dance Challenge 2026 - was conceptualized as a "Sport for all" Project for Team GOLDEN in collaboration with the Ministry of Sport and Youth affairs and TAFISA, an International "Sport for All" Organization. It focuses on the movement category of Dance.
For this pilot, Team GOLDEN partnered with the Age with Joy Senior Citizen's Care home and various Sponsors to fund and implement a fun, 4-week, dance challenge set to the original music of our new 2026 LIVE GOLDEN Campaign song.
The dance choreography and song lyrics for the dance Challenge are the original compositions and intellectual property of Leanda Taitt and are being used with permission by TEAM Golden for this pilot.
